2021 Neilom Scholar

Antonio is currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in Social Work and Public Policy. He is most interested in concepts pertaining to society, culture, and humanitarian progress.

During his Neilom Foundation/Do Good Social Impact Internship in Summer 2021, Antonio worked with Maryland nonprofit Game Genius as a data analysis intern. He helped them collect impact data to showcase their work across its three areas: products, services, and experiences. Game Genius uses a play-centric approach, creating games for socially beneficial initiatives in the greater Maryland area. Antonio assisted in validating and improving Game Genius’ approach and instituted creative data collection methods and outputs.

Some books that inspire him include Les Misérables (Victor Hugo), The Sociological Imagination (C. Wright Mills), and Reinventing Organizations (Frederic Laloux).
