Jenna Schueler

Jenna Schueler

As a former Mechanical Engineering undergraduate student, Jenna was a member of our pioneering group of students at the University of Maryland in the Engineering for Social Change program. The students chose to award the Neilom Foundation Engineering for Social Change grant that year to local nonprofit Bread and Water for Africa, who matched the award funds and worked with an in-country partner to build a water well in Freetown, Sierra Leone for 2,500 young people.

Now working as a Water Quality Research Assistant at the Maryland nonprofit Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Jenna exemplifies the engineer who has decided to use their talents to create positive social change.
