Matthew DiDomenico – Neilom Fellow

Matthew spent his time throughout high school helping others as a special needs teacher’s aide for his town’s summer school. As part of the Special Olympics in New Jersey, he coached basketball games and held practices for kids for the winter and summer seasons.

When he reached college he joined the Engineers Without Borders group, travelling to Ghana to help build a water tower, and then worked on constructing a house through Habitat for Humanity as part of Theta Tau. Matthew is now Vice President of the organization, and is working on service events throughout the semester that tackle helping people in need, mental health issues, and exposing younger generations to engineering.
